School Principals Go Viral Announcing Snow Days

School principals are showing their digital chops and having fun announcing snow days to their school communities.

Above Durham Academy headmaster, Michael Ulku-Steiner, donned ski goggles and Lee Hark, an assistant, donned a Sochi Olympics sweater, to announce a “cold” day singing Vanilla Ice’s Ice, Ice Baby.  Ulku-Steiner who arrived at Durham Academy in July was formerly head of The American School in Switzerland.  He is described on the school website as “that rare leader who combines vision, charisma, intellect, integrity, warmth and a keen sense of curiosity.”

Here Stephens Elementary school principals James Detwiler and a school drama coach show great school spirit belting out their own rendition of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody:
